EIU Baseball: “The Boy’s are Buzzin'”

EIU baseball has a seven game win streak now that they won yesterday’s ball game 8-7 against Indiana State University. The Sycamore’s fought a hard game as they would jump out to a lead and then quickly find themselves in a tie again as they had no answer for the EIU offense that was led by Joseph Duncan. Duncan ended the game with 4 hits in 5 at-bats and scoring 3 times while driving in one other run. He was not alone as Dougie Parks hit his ELEVENTH home run this year! Parks now trails Matt Albert by 1 in the homerun race. EIU has another game today against St. Louis University at 2 p.m. here at Coaches Stadium as they wrap up their 6 game homestead before heading to Moorehead State as they continue to chase a spot in the OVC tournament.
